Kamti Education Foundation

We are located right in the Sevoke Road Post Office Building in Siliguri. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Being near the post office means we see everyone coming and going all day long. Darjeeling is just up the way, but we are firmly planted here in the Siliguri heat. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space with some desks and paper piled up. We’ve had to fix the door handle a few times because it sticks when the weather gets humid. That’s just part of being in West Bengal, I guess. Kamti Education Foundation isn’t some massive institution with millions of people. It’s just us. We spend a lot of time on Sevoke Road, which is pretty much the main artery of the area. Sometimes the traffic is so bad it takes forever just to get a tea across the street. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or bright signs. We'd rather just keep the lights on and focus on what needs to be done. If you are looking for us, look for the post office signs and you’ll find the stairs. It gets a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make it work. It’s a simple life here, really. No need to make it sound more complicated than it is. We are just working through our daily list and getting things sorted.
