Kalika Kanch Ghar

We have been running Kalika Kanch Ghar here in Lalbazar for quite some time now. Most people know us because we are right near the Police Phanri, so it is easy to spot the shop when you are passing through. Our daily routine is mostly about handling glass work for folks in the village and surrounding areas. It is not a very fancy setup, just a practical workspace where we cut glass and get things ready for customers. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty with all the work going on, but that is just how it is when you are working with these materials all day. We started out small and stayed in the same spot because the community here knows where to find us. Usually, people just drop in when they need a window pane replaced or something for their home. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth in a place like Lalbazar works well enough for us. The weather can get a bit rough during the rains, which makes moving glass tricky, but we manage. We just try to get the job done right so people come back next time. It's a simple life running a glass shop near the police outpost. We spend our mornings setting up and the evenings tidying up the glass scraps. If you are around Lalbazar, you will probably see our sign right by the side of the road near the phanri.
