You can find us at Pusp Villa on Burdwan Road, up here in the Darjeeling district. We’ve been operating as Jiwanmal Ramlal & Company for many years now. It’s an old-school firm, and we like to keep things simple. Our office is in a residential-looking building, so it’s not like a big city skyscraper. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few people who have been around for a long time. The pace in Darjeeling is much slower than in places like Delhi or Mumbai. We spend our days handling paperwork and meeting with people who come by the office. We usually sit around a big old desk and talk things through. It’s a functional space without any modern decorations. Sometimes the mist rolls in and you can’t see the road, or the heavy rains make it hard to get anything done. We just take those days as they come. We aren't trying to grow into a massive corporation. We’re just a local business that has been part of the community for a long time. We don't use social media or do any big advertising. People in the district know who we are and where to find us on Burdwan Road. It’s a quiet way to work, and we prefer it that way. We just focus on our daily tasks and take care of the business.
