Our office is tucked away in Jhorehat, specifically in the Rajarbagan area of Andul. Howrah is a place with a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk around here. It isn't the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know the way. We work out of a simple building that serves its purpose. Inside, there are usually some maps of the local area and a lot of dusty boots near the door. We handle a variety of construction tasks, mostly focusing on things that need doing in this part of West Bengal. It’s a bit quieter than the center of Kolkata, which suits us just fine. We have a few people who handle the office work and a larger group who are always out at the sites. Communication can be a bit tricky when the weather gets bad, but we’ve learned to deal with it over the years. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want a roof over our heads while we plan out the next project. Sometimes we share a meal together in the office when the work runs late. It’s a very informal atmosphere, but we take the actual construction work seriously. It’s just a group of local guys making a living and building things as best as we can.
