Up on the 1st floor at 4 Udham Singh Sarani, you’ll find Gurukul Activity Center Pvt. Ltd. We’re right off Sevoke Road, which is one of the busiest parts of Siliguri. You can hear the horns honking and the general noise of the city from our windows. It’s a central spot, which makes it easy for people to find us, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We have a few rooms dedicated to different activities. It isn’t a massive complex, just a practical space where we keep our supplies and equipment. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit cluttered with bags or shoes. We spend a lot of time managing the schedule and making sure the instructors are ready for the next group. Siliguri is a gateway city, so we get people from all over. The atmosphere is pretty casual. We aren't big on uniforms or formal talk. If something breaks, we fix it. If the floor is dirty, we sweep it. It’s just how we run things on the first floor. People appreciate that it’s a straightforward place without any hidden agendas. We’ve been at this Udham Singh Sarani location for a while now. It feels like home to us, despite the noise from Sevoke Road. We just keep the doors open and let the daily activities happen as they should.
