We are located in Mahalaxmi Bhavan on Sevoke Road, right in the Ashram Para area. If you know where the Pani Tanki More is, or the Clock Tower, then you’ve probably passed us plenty of times. It’s a very busy part of town. The sound of horns and the ticking of the clock tower are just part of our daily life here. Our shop isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got a concrete floor and some old metal cabinets where we keep all the manuals and paperwork. It can get pretty cramped when we have more than a couple of vehicles inside. We spend a lot of time on our knees checking undercarriages or leaning over engines. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. We keep a cooler in the corner with some water because it gets stuffy inside during the afternoon heat. Being near the clock tower means there's always a lot of foot traffic, and sometimes people wander in just to ask for directions. We don’t mind. It’s a good spot to be in, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We just focus on the machines and getting the jobs finished. It’s a straightforward way of working, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now.
