Eduvil Foundation

Eduvil Foundation is just a small group of us working out of Mallikpur. We’re located over at Salema Khatun’s place, which most people around here know. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of paper. We started this because we saw things in the village that needed attention. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to stop what we’re doing for a bit. It’s part of living here. We don’t have a huge staff. It is mostly just a few neighbors helping out when they can. The building is simple and easy to find if you’re walking down the main path in Mallikpur. People stop by to talk about different things happening in the area. We try to listen and see what can be done. It gets pretty busy during the day, especially when everyone is out and about. We aren't trying to be some giant organization. We just want to do our part right here where we live. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we manage. You’ll usually find someone here from early morning until the sun goes down. We don't really have a big sign, but if you ask for Salema’s villa, you’ll find us easily enough. It feels good to be part of the local community like this and just help where we can without making it into a big production.
