Cubes N Pyramids

If you know Hill Cart Road in Siliguri, you know how busy it gets. We are in Ojha Mansion, up on the first floor. Cubes N Pyramids is the name on the door, and we’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the address anymore. Being in Siliguri means we get that mountain air sometimes, but mostly it’s just the sound of horns and people on the street. The first floor is a good spot because we can see what’s happening outside without being right in the middle of the dust. We’ve got piles of paper everywhere and some models sitting on the window sills that have gathered a bit of dust over the months. It isn't a silent office; there is always someone talking or a fan rattling in the corner. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. The stairs in Ojha Mansion are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything big. We like it here in this part of Darjeeling district. It feels like we are right in the thick of things. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick snack at the local stalls when the work gets too much for a Friday afternoon. It’s a practical space for us to do what we do, and we don't feel the need to make it look fancy for anyone who walks in.
