Central Tyre

We've been running Central Tyre at 114/1, Agresion Road for a good while now. It's a busy little spot right opposite the Durga Mandir. If you know the Burdwan Road area in Darjeeling, you probably know where we are. Dealing with tyres all day is a greasy job. My hands are rarely clean. We handle all sorts of vehicles, from small cars to the bigger trucks that pass through the district. The mountain roads around here can be tough on rubber, so we stay busy. Sometimes the traffic outside the temple gets backed up and it’s a bit of a mess. We don't have any fancy waiting rooms or coffee machines. There's just a few benches and the sound of the air compressor running. It gets loud and a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We just focus on getting the job done right so people can get where they’re going. The shop is a bit cramped with stacks of tyres everywhere, but we know where everything is. We open up early because that’s when the drivers are out. It’s not a complicated business. We check the tread, fix the punctures, and swap out the old ones when they’re done. People around here know us as a place that just does the work without a lot of talk. It’s been our life for years on this road. We see the same faces every season and just keep things moving.
