We are set up on Sevoke Road at the 2nd Mile mark. If you know the area, Ceasefire Industries Pvt. Ltd. is right across from Hotel Sachitra. Being in the Darjeeling district, specifically near Hotel Ambari, means we are in a very busy part of the road. There are always tourists and travelers heading up towards the hills or coming back down. The traffic on Sevoke Road can be quite something, especially in the peak season. Our office isn't very big. It’s a functional space where we keep our records and coordinate our daily routes. Most of our time is spent dealing with the logistics of being on such a major thoroughfare. We see the same tea stalls and shops every day when we come into work. The weather here can be a bit damp, which is just part of living in this district. We don't have a lot of polished marble or high-end decor in the office. It’s mostly just metal desks and some old chairs that have seen a lot of use. People often stop by just because they recognize the name or they’re staying at one of the nearby hotels and need directions. We try to keep our heads down and get the paperwork done so the field teams can do their jobs. It’s a busy, unpretentious spot that serves us well for what we do every day. We just keep moving along.
