Calcutta Crane Service

We’re located at the 2.5 Mile mark on Nh-31 in Bhaktinagar. It’s in the Darjeeling district, though it’s not exactly the tea gardens you might imagine when you hear the name. It’s more of a busy highway spot for trucks. Calcutta Crane Service has been here for years. We deal with all sorts of lifting work along the national highway. The weather here can be a bit unpredictable, with the rain and everything, so we have to be careful with the machinery we use. Our yard is right there by the road, so it’s easy for the big trucks to pull in and out. We aren't much for polished talk or big business ideas. We just know our cranes and how to get them to the sites without any fuss. The team is just a few local guys who grew up around this area. We see a lot of traffic passing by on Nh-31 every single day. Sometimes we have to head out quite far into the district for a job, which is fine by us. We keep the office simple, just a place to keep the keys and the logbooks for the machines. It’s a practical life. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just pick things up and put them down where they need to go for the customers. It’s been our way of life in Bhaktinagar for a long time now. We just focus on the work at hand and keeping the cranes in good shape.
