We are located over in Sriram Colony, right off Sevoke Road. Being near the LIC building makes it pretty easy for people to find us, which is good because this part of town can get crowded. Bengal Hardware Agencies is basically just a big room full of tools, nuts, bolts, and whatever else people might need for their houses. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a bucket or a roll of wire. We don't have a big corporate team; it's just a few of us who know where the specific pipe fittings are hidden. If you come in asking for something rare, we might have to dig through the back for a few minutes. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. Customers are usually regulars from the neighborhood who are working on their own repairs. We talk about the weather or the traffic while we weigh out nails.
