Agarwal Ramesh Kumar & Co is located on the first floor of Sanat Trade Centre. If you know where Sunny Tower is on Sevoke Road, we are right near there. Being above the Bank of Maharashtra makes it easy for people to find us, which is a good thing since Siliguri traffic can be a mess. Our office isn’t huge, but it is where we spend most of our time dealing with numbers and tax stuff. We have seen the city change quite a bit from our windows here. Most of our days are spent sitting at desks, looking at computer screens or stacks of paper. It is mostly regular accounting work for local businesses and some individuals who need help with their yearly filings. We do not have any big corporate slogans or anything like that. It is just Ramesh and the rest of the team trying to stay on top of all the paperwork. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered when it is tax season, but that is just how it goes. We try to be helpful when someone comes in with a problem they do not understand. Siliguri is a hub for trade, so there is always someone needing their books looked at. We just keep doing what we do, year after year. It is a steady job and we like the people we meet. If you need to stop by, the stairs are right there by the entrance.
