Ur Creations

We are located right in Basant Bihar Colony. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. Ur Creations started in a small room and eventually, we took over a bit more space to fit all our supplies. Living and working in the same colony means we see our customers at the grocery store or the park. It makes the work feel more personal. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights. Most of our days are spent at the worktable cutting fabric or sewing. The sound of the machines is pretty constant from nine to six. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, and we see the kids coming home from school every afternoon. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a few shelves, two sewing machines, and a large table for packing. Sometimes things get disorganized when we have three orders going at once. We don't have a fancy system for tracking things; we mostly just use a notebook and a pen. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to be the biggest business in town. We just want to finish the work we have and do it well enough that people come back. If someone knocks on the door after hours, we usually answer if we're still inside. It's just that kind of neighborhood. We like being part of Basant Bihar and keeping our work close to home.
