System Engineer

System Engineer is the name I use for my work here in Balaran. It’s a village post office area in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, pin code 332401. I don't have a big city office with elevators. Instead, I work from this location in Balaran where I’ve lived for a long time. It’s a very different environment than what you might find in Jaipur or Delhi. Things are quieter here, and the pace of life is much more relaxed. I handle all kinds of engineering and system tasks for the local people and some businesses nearby. My setup is basic, just a desk, my computer, and the tools I need. Sikar is a rugged place, and sometimes the weather makes work a bit difficult, especially when it gets really hot in the summer. I don't have any staff; I do everything myself. From checking the connections to fixing software problems, it’s all on me. I like being in the village because everyone knows everyone else. You don't need a map to find the Vpo Balaran. I just keep my head down and do what needs to be done. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady. I’ve been a system engineer for a while now, and this is where I feel most at home. I just try to be helpful to the community and keep the machines running well. Sometimes the dust is a problem, but I manage. People know where I live so they just come by.
