Srilakshmi Narasimha Traders

We have been here on Lachhmangarh Todi College Road for a long time now. It is a busy spot because of the college students and people passing through every day. Srilakshmi Narasimha Traders isn't a big place with fancy lights, it is just our shop where we keep the things people need. Most mornings start with cleaning the front steps because the dust from the road gets everywhere. It's usually quiet around noon when the sun is high, but then it picks up again. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in to ask about prices or just to say hello. Sometimes the inventory arrives late and we have to stay back to move boxes around, which is tiring but that is how it goes. My uncle started this and we just keep it running day after day. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People know where we are if they need something. The shop gets a bit cramped when too many customers come at once, so we usually have to move some stools outside. It feels good to be part of the neighborhood here near Todi College. We just try to get the work done and go home to our families in the evening. Nothing too complicated about it. We have seen the road change quite a bit over the years, with more cars now than before. It’s just us doing our bit here every day.
