Sri Ram Auto Mobile

You will find us on the Srimadhopur Kanwat Road. It’s a good spot because a lot of people pass through here going between the towns. I spend most of my time looking at engines or digging through boxes of spare parts. Sri Ram Auto Mobile is just a small place, really. We have a few benches and a lot of tools that have seen better days. The floor is stained with oil, no matter how much we try to scrub it. That is just the nature of working on cars and bikes. On rainy days, the road gets a bit muddy, and things slow down, but usually, there is someone pulling in with a flat tire or a strange noise under their hood. I like being out here. You get to see the same faces every week, people heading to work or coming back from the market. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people know us just by the location and the clutter of parts out front. My brother helps out sometimes when it gets crowded. We keep a stash of cold water in a clay pot for the customers who have to wait. It gets dusty when the wind picks up across the fields nearby. We just keep the doors open and keep working. It is a simple business. We fix what is broken and send people on their way. The tools are heavy and the work is tiring, but it’s what we do.
