We've been here in Sikar for a while now, right on the main street. It’s a retail setup, so most days start with pulling up the shutters and dusting off the shelves before the first customer walks in. We call it a khazana because we try to keep a bit of everything, though sometimes it feels like we have too much stuff and not enough space. Rajasthan gets really hot in the summer, so the afternoons are usually quiet while everyone stays indoors. My nephew helps out with the inventory, but his handwriting is terrible, so I have to double-check the ledger every evening. We mostly deal with local folks from the neighborhood who’ve been coming to us for years. It’s not fancy, just a regular shop where you can find what you need without much fuss. We spend a lot of time talking to the delivery guys who bring the crates from the bigger cities. Sometimes the truck is late because of the traffic or the roads, but we manage. Usually, by 8 PM, we’re ready to close up and go home. We don't have a big website or anything, just this physical place where we stand behind the counter and wait for the bells on the door to ring.
