We operate from D-26 on Jagan Path, right near Chomu House. It’s a central spot, but our specific lane is a bit more tucked away. Inside, you’ll find a lot of small tools, scales, and bright lights. This isn't a big flashy store with glass counters everywhere. It’s more of a workspace where we actually sit and work on the stones and the metal. There’s usually someone hunched over a bench with a magnifying glass, looking at tiny details. The air smells a bit like metal polish sometimes. We keep things pretty simple. There’s a safe, some desks, and a couple of chairs for visitors. We spend a lot of time just looking at pieces and deciding what to do with them. It takes a lot of patience, and sometimes your eyes get tired by the end of the day. We have a tea guy who comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked scooters, so getting in and out is sometimes a bit of a squeeze. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shopkeepers around. It’s a tight-knit community. We don't do much advertising; people mostly find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work on our desks. It’s a slow process but we like it.
