Shiv Engineering Tools

Shiv Engineering Tools is our little shop located on Station Road. We are right near the Zanana Hospital, so we’re easy to find if you’re in that part of town. We mostly sell tools and equipment for engineering work. It’s a small place, packed from floor to ceiling with metal parts, wrenches, and heavy-duty gear. The noise from the station and the hospital traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren’t interested in being a corporate giant. We just want to provide the right tools to the local guys who come in. Often, someone will bring in a broken part and ask if we have a replacement. We spend a lot of time digging through boxes to find the right size. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how a real tool shop should be, in my opinion. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy ads. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. Sometimes we have tea with the other shop owners on the road. It’s a community. We’ve been here for years, and the hospital nearby is a good landmark for people coming from out of town. We keep things simple and honest. If we don’t have it, we’ll tell you. If we can get it, we will.
