Super Yatra

Super Yatra is tucked away in Bhairunji Ki Gali, which is part of the Old Kachahari area. We are not too far from the Surajpole Gate in Naya Sahar. Our office is small and filled with maps and old ledgers. Much of our time is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in looking for help with their travel plans. Because the street outside is narrow, it’s mostly foot traffic and the occasional scooter passing by. In the summer, it gets quite hot, so we keep a couple of fans going all day. They make a clicking sound that we’ve grown used to. Most of our day is spent checking schedules and writing things down by hand. We don’t have a big fancy sign, just a simple one so people can find the door. It’s a family-run kind of place. While my brother handles most of the bookings, I deal with the customers. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our corner stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, which gives us time to have some chai. It’s not a fast-paced corporate office. We take our time to get things right. People from the nearby shops often drop by just to say hello. It’s a friendly spot in an old part of town. We just keep doing our thing, helping people get where they need to go.
