Mody School is out in Lakshmangarh, which is part of the Sikar district in Rajasthan. It’s a place that feels very connected to the local land. The school sits under the eye of the Principal and the staff who live and work here. Lakshmangarh is a quiet town, and the school is a big part of the community here. We have a lot of students coming from different places, and the campus is where everything happens. It isn't like those city schools where everything is cramped. Here, there is room to breathe. We spend our days making sure the classrooms are ready and the students have what they need. It’s a lot of coordination between the teachers and the office staff. Sometimes the dust from the Rajasthan plains gets into everything, but we just sweep it out and keep going. We don’t have a lot of corporate talk here. We just focus on the daily routine of bells ringing and lessons being taught. Life in Sikar moves at its own pace, and we follow that. The school has been part of this landscape for a long time. People know us by name. We don’t need big billboards to tell people we are here. They can see the buildings and hear the kids during the day. It’s just a school in a small town, doing what schools are supposed to do for the families and the children who live out here.
