Mahaveer Tools

Mahaveer Tools is situated on Khetari Road in Ajitgarh, right across from Indira Colony. It is a straightforward shop where we keep various tools and hardware for the people living nearby. I started this place because I noticed folks had to travel too far just to get basic supplies for their building projects. Now, we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. It is often a bit messy with boxes stacked up, but it is a working shop. We do not have fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our customers are locals who are fixing up their homes or workers from the nearby sites. We spend a lot of time talking to people about what they need for their specific jobs. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the bench until it comes back on. It is a simple life running a hardware store in a town like this. My son helps out after school sometimes, learning the names of all the different wrenches and bolts. We are not trying to be the biggest store around, just a place where you can find what you need without a fuss. We open up early and usually lock up once the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. It is a decent way to earn a living and stay involved with the community here in Ajitgarh. The shelves are made of wood and we painted them blue years ago.
