ISSS Neem Ka Thana

Our place, ISSS Neem Ka Thana, is right on the Kotpootli Road in Sikar. If you drive past, you’ll probably see the sign. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially in the mornings. We’ve been here for a while, just doing our thing. It’s mostly students and staff coming in and out all day. The building is functional, nothing too fancy. We have a few rooms where we do our work. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always cleaning. Sikar weather can be tough, either too hot or quite chilly in the winters. We just put on our sweaters and keep going. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a short walk or a quick ride to get here. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the locals, trying to make this place work. We have meetings, we talk about what needs to be fixed, and we deal with the daily issues that pop up. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying, but we manage. You get to know the people who pass by every day. It’s a very grounded sort of place. We don’t really care about being the most modern; we just want to be useful for the people who come to us. It’s just how things are around here, and we like the rhythm of the day.
