Humers

Humers is located at D-14 on the Main Road in Basant Vihar. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. It’s a lively spot to have a business. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the shop has become a bit of a fixture in the neighborhood. We handle a variety of things, mostly focused on what people need for their daily lives. The building is older, but it has character. Inside, we’ve got shelves filled with stuff and a small counter where we talk to everyone who walks in. It’s not a fancy boutique. It’s a place where you can come in and ask a question without feeling rushed. We often have the radio playing in the background while we work. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. Now I’m the one opening up the shutters every morning. We know most of the other shop owners on the block, so there’s a good sense of community. When things get busy, it can be a bit chaotic, but we find our way through the pile of orders. We don’t go in for big promises or flashy signs. We just stay open and do what we do. It’s a lot of long hours, but seeing familiar faces makes it worth the effort.
