Blumarine India Garments

Blumarine India Garments is located right near the railway station in Fatehpur Shekhawti. It’s a good spot because the trains bring in a lot of people every day. We’ve been operating out of this location for a while now. The building is older, but it serves us well. We carry a variety of garments, mostly focusing on what's practical for the weather around here. It can get pretty hot, so we try to have a lot of cotton items. When the trains arrive, the shop usually fills up for a bit. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes to help everyone at once. We don't have fancy lights or a big display window, just the clothes on the hangers. My family has lived in Fatehpur for generations, so we know most of the people who come in. We get our supplies from various markets, and sometimes it's hard to get exactly what we want, but we make do. The floor is concrete and we have a few ceiling fans that work most of the time. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, open the shutters, and wait to see who comes in. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when it's quiet. It’s a decent life and the railway noise is something you just get used to after a week or two. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. Sometimes the dust from the tracks gets inside, so we sweep a lot.
