If you are driving down Salasar Road, you have probably passed by Balaji Motor without thinking much about it. We are situated right near the petrol pump, which is handy because people are always stopping for fuel and then realize they need something checked on their vehicle. The shop is usually covered in a bit of grease and oil, but that’s expected when you’re working on motors all day long. Salasar Road is often busy with cars and bikes heading in and out of town. We spend a lot of time under hoods or looking at tires. It’s a noisy spot with the sound of the pump next door and the traffic passing by, but we like the energy of it. Sometimes the heat gets to be a bit much in the afternoon, so we just take a break in the shade for a bit. The local regulars know us by name, and we usually end up chatting about more than just engines. We don't really do anything fancy here, just the usual work that comes with having a shop on a main road. It’s a simple setup with our tools and some spare parts scattered around. We’ve been in this spot near the petrol pump for quite some time now, and it feels like home. It’s just a regular day-to-day business where we try to stay busy and keep the machines running for the people who stop in.
