This is Arvind D, and we are located out in Ramgarh, which is part of the Sikar Dist. It is a quiet area mostly, with a lot of farming around. We have been here for quite some time now, just doing our work and helping out the local people. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building with what we need inside. We deal with various items that people in the village and nearby areas require. Sometimes it is hard to get new stock quickly because we are a bit far from the main city centers, but we manage. My family helps out with the business. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. In the summers, it gets very hot here in Sikar, so we usually take a long break in the middle of the day when no one is out. Then we stay open later in the evening when it cools down. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just open the shutters and wait for people to come by. It is a simple life and a simple business. We try to be fair with our prices because we know how hard everyone works around here. The Sikar Dist weather is unpredictable, so we always have to be prepared for the dust storms that come through sometimes. When that happens, we have to close up the front quickly to keep the stock clean. We carry things like basic hardware and tools.
