We are based at 8, Industrial Area in Sikandrabad. Being in an industrial zone means it is always a bit noisy and there is a lot of dust from the factories nearby. Orient Ceramics And Industries Ltd. is a place where we focus on making and storing tiles and ceramic goods. The building is large and has that old industrial feel with high ceilings and concrete floors. We have different shifts of workers coming in and out, so the place is rarely ever quiet. Most of our day is spent watching the kilns or checking the pallets to make sure they are stacked correctly for transport. The road in the industrial area is a bit rough, which makes the truck drivers complain, but we are all used to it by now. We don't do anything fancy for our image. We just show up in our work clothes and get the production line moving. It can get very hot near the machinery, especially in the summer months. We keep a big water cooler in the corner that everyone uses. We don't have a polished corporate office. It is just a workspace where we get things done. People come to us because they know we are here in the same spot we have been for years. We just try to keep the machines running and the crates moving out to the trucks without too much trouble.
