Our office is located at Number 12 in the Sikandrabad Industrial Area. Being out here in Bulandshahr means we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. This place is usually buzzing with trucks and people moving supplies around. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with the plants and the transport guys. Cement is a heavy business, and things have to move on a tight schedule or everything stalls. The office isn't very large, just enough room for the desks and the paperwork we have to track. We see a lot of drivers coming through for their papers before they head out to the sites. It gets quite dusty around here because of the location, but that is just how it is in this part of Bulandshahr. We mostly focus on making sure the supply stays steady for the local markets and the bigger projects happening in the district. It’s not a desk job where you sit quietly all day; there is always someone knocking on the door or a truck idling outside. We handle the logistics and the distribution side of things from this specific spot. The days go by fast when there are a dozen deliveries to manage. We just try to keep the paperwork straight and the trucks moving so nobody is left waiting for their materials on-site. It’s hard work and the phone never stops ringing but we manage to stay on top of it.
