Nagma Silks

Nagma Silks is tucked away at number 32 in Nisar Palya. We are right behind the Government Degree College. Because of that, we get a lot of students walking past our doors every single day. It is a lively little corner. The shop is filled with silks of all different colors. When the sun hits the window, the whole place glows with the reflections from the fabric. It is a nice sight. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything, just enough so people know where we are. Inside, it is mostly just shelves and a few long tables for folding. Silk is delicate, so we spend a lot of time making sure nothing gets snagged or dusty. We have got a small back room for storing the heavier bundles. It is a quiet business for the most part, except when the college classes let out and the street fills up with noise. We have been here long enough that we know most of the people living on this street. We do not go in for big advertisements or anything like that. We just open up the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. It is a simple way to spend the day. Usually, someone is sitting near the door to greet people as they walk in. It is just how we have always done it.
