Sharda Sk Builders Private Limited is down on Sidhi Ghat Road, right at Krishna Kunj. It’s the place care of Sri Krishna Singh. If you’re driving along the river road, you can’t really miss the turn-off. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out, which is what matters. We’ve got a lot of history in this building, and you can tell by the way the floorboards creak when you walk to the back room. Construction is what we do, so there’s always a bit of sand or gravel that hitches a ride inside on someone’s boots. We don't spend much on advertising or fancy furniture. Most of our desks were built by the same guys who work on our sites. Sri Krishna Singh is usually around, either on the phone or looking over some site photos. It’s a busy place but not in a corporate way—more like a workshop where everyone knows their job. We get a lot of locals dropping in just to chat or ask for advice on a small repair. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though things can get a bit hectic when a big project is wrapping up. We just take things one day at a time and try to do right by the people who hire us. It’s a simple life here at Krishna Kunj, surrounded by tools, plans, and the smell of fresh cement from the yard.
