Modern Dental Clinic

If you head toward Gandhi Chowk on stadium road, you’ll see our place, Modern Dental Clinic. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always something going on outside our windows, from street vendors to people heading to the game. We’ve been here for a long time, and the clinic has become a bit of a landmark for people giving directions. The inside is pretty basic. We have a front counter that’s seen better days and a row of chairs for anyone waiting. The floor is that grey linoleum that you see in a lot of older clinics. We have a couple of dental chairs in the back. The rooms are a bit small, but they fit the equipment we need to do our daily work. It can get pretty noisy when there is an event at the stadium nearby, but we just turn up the volume on the small TV we have in the corner. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know where everything is kept, even if the filing system looks a bit messy to an outsider. Most of our day is spent dealing with routine checkups or fixing things that have gone wrong with someone's teeth. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and do the work that needs to be done until it’s time to go home in the evening.
