Government Girls Degree College

Government Girls Degree College in Sidhi is where a lot of local young women come for their studies. Sidhi is not a huge place, so the college is a bit of a landmark for the families around here. The building is functional and has been standing for quite some time. We have different wings for different subjects, though sometimes we have to share rooms if one is being painted or repaired. The hallways are usually full of girls talking between their lectures. We have a library that stays pretty quiet, which is good because the rest of the place can get noisy. We don’t have a fancy canteen, just a small spot where you can get tea or a snack. There is a sense of purpose here because for many of these girls, this degree is a big deal for their future. We don’t spend money on advertisements or big posters. People just know we are here. We deal with the usual problems like fans not working or needing more chairs. It’s just a normal college life, focusing on the books and getting through the three years of the degree without any unnecessary drama. We have some trees in the courtyard where students sit when it's not too hot outside. It's a decent place to learn. Some days are busier than others.
