We are located out at Plot No 56 in the Biotech Park. It is Phase III of the TSIIC area in Karkapatla. Being in Mulugu, it’s a bit of a drive for some, but this is where the health care work happens. The facility is set up for the specific needs of what we do here. Most days start early because getting things running in a lab environment takes time. People usually find us by looking for the Biotech Park signs once they get into the village area. It's quiet out here which is good for this kind of work. We have been here for a while now. The building is functional. It’s not fancy, just a place where the staff shows up and gets on with the manufacturing or the testing that needs doing that day. Some of us live nearby and others commute. We deal with the usual challenges of running a place in an industrial park, like logistics and making sure supplies arrive on time. It is a steady environment. We don't have a big front desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll see people in coats or moving boxes. The focus is really just on the products. We’ve seen the park grow a bit over the years. It’s basically just a group of people working together to keep the health care supplies moving out the door. It gets hot in the afternoons but the workspace is kept right. That's pretty much the daily life at Sanmed in Karkapatla.
