The complex is a busy place, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here for a while now. Our office isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we do. We help folks around Naugarh save their money. It’s mostly small amounts from people who work in the nearby shops or live in the ward. We also do small loans for our members. It’s all very straightforward. We have some computers now, which helps with the record-keeping, but there’s still a lot of paper around. The Ashwani Complex has a lot of different businesses, so we see a lot of faces every day. We aren't trying to be a massive bank. We just want to be a place where the local people feel okay coming in. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic at Purab Padav, but we’re used to it. We just keep our records straight and talk to our members. It’s a regular job. We open in the morning and stay until the work is finished. There’s no fancy talk here. We just deal with the money and the paperwork as it comes in. It’s been working out okay so far for everyone involved. We just keep our heads down and work.
