Salasar Hardware

Salasar Hardware is tucked inside the Guruduwara Complex right on A T Road in Sivasagar. It’s a central spot, so we see a lot of foot traffic every day. People come to the complex for all sorts of reasons, and many of them end up stopping by our shop to see if we have a particular tool or some paint. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of the walls to hang things up. It can feel a bit like a maze if you don't know where you're going. I spend most of my day behind the counter, talking to customers and trying to organize the nuts and bolts that always seem to get mixed up. Sivasagar is a place with a lot of history, and you can feel it even in a simple hardware store. We have been here for a while, just being a part of the daily routine for the local builders and handymen. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic on A T Road, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth is usually how people find us. We just try to be honest about what we have in stock. If we don’t have it, we might know who does. It’s just about being a helpful part of the neighborhood in the complex. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic, which can be annoying, but we just deal with it. That's just how it goes.
