We are located in Moranhat, a place that stays pretty green but gets very muddy when the rains come. Mayna Tyre is basically a shop built for utility. We have stacks of tyres piled high against the walls, reaching almost to the ceiling. The smell of new and old rubber is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a simple building with a corrugated metal roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains. We don’t have any fancy displays or lounge chairs for people to sit in. Usually, customers just stand by the door or wait outside while we work. The floor is covered in black marks from dragging tyres around all day. There are tools and jacks scattered near the entrance where we do most of the heavy lifting. It’s a small operation, so it’s usually just a couple of us getting our hands greasy. We don’t use much technology here, mostly just doing the work by hand and keeping track of things in a notebook. Life in Moranhat moves at its own pace, and we just follow along. When it’s quiet, we sit on a couple of old rims and watch the traffic go by on the main road. It’s not a corporate business, just a local tyre shop where we deal with flats and replacements as they come. It's simple, physical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening every single day.
