Our company is located in Ranjankhol, which is over in the Shrirampur area. We operate out of Kishor Ramchandra Nirmal’s place. It’s more of a community-based setup than a formal office building. Kashtakaree Pragatsheel Farmer Producer Company Limited is a long name, but we are just a group of farmers from the village. We focus on working together to get better results from our fields. Most of us grow the same kinds of crops, so it makes sense to pool our resources. The village of Ranjankhol is a quiet place, but we stay busy with the seasonal cycles. You’ll often see us gathered at the house discussing the latest weather reports or market rates. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just know what it takes to work the land day in and day out. It’s hard work, and your hands are always dirty, but it's what we know. Sometimes we have meetings under the trees when the weather is nice. We try to help the younger farmers learn the ropes too. It isn't always easy to agree on everything, but we manage to find a way. Being a producer company helps us get a slightly better deal when it comes time to sell our yield. We are proud of what we grow here even if it is a struggle. It’s a simple life, focused on the earth and the seasons. We just keep moving forward, one harvest at a time.
