Shree Cement

Shree Cement is our small operation located at 86- 21 Main Road in Yadgir, Hunasagi. Being on the Main Road means we get a lot of dust and noise from the traffic, but it’s a good spot for people to find us. We mostly deal with bags of cement, which is heavy and messy work, but someone has to do it. The shop is basically a large room where we stack the bags as high as we can safely reach. We spend most of our time waiting for the next truck to arrive or helping a local builder load up their trolley. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or a clean floor. Cement has a way of getting everywhere, no matter how much you sweep. In Hunasagi, everyone knows everyone, so we spend a fair bit of time just chatting with people who stop by. We keep track of everything in a simple ledger, and we try to stay on top of the orders. The sun gets really hot on the Main Road in the afternoons, so we usually take a break when things slow down. It’s a basic business, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve been at this for a while and don’t plan on changing much. We just provide what the local construction needs and try to keep our head down and work hard. It's just a regular day-to-day life for us here in Yadgir.
