Sharmaz Clinic

Sharmaz Clinic is over in Ghatigaon, specifically inside the New Ashoka Market. If you know the market, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. We are right in the thick of it. The clinic isn't huge, but it serves the purpose for the folks living around Ghatigaon. We open up early most days to get a head start before the market noise really kicks in. It’s a local place through and through. You will mostly find people from the nearby blocks coming in for a check-up or when they aren't feeling their best. The New Ashoka Market has a lot of energy, and being part of it means we see all sorts of people. Our space is simple. There are a few chairs for waiting and the rooms where we see patients. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the air moving. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the work at hand. It feels good to be a familiar face in the community. When the sun goes down and the market lights come on, we are usually finishing up our last few files for the day. It’s a busy life here in this part of town, but we are used to the rhythm of the market by now and we just keep things moving along.
