Pankaj Kirana

I have been running this shop, Pankaj Kirana, for quite a while now. We are located right here in Indra Nagar, Garotha, and most people around here know us because we are so close to the Foundation School. If you walk past the school gate, you will see my storefront. It is not a huge place, just a regular neighborhood store where we keep the shelves stocked with the things people need every day. I usually open up pretty early in the morning when the sun is just coming up so the neighbors can get their milk and tea leaves before they start their day. It gets a bit hectic around eight in the morning when parents are dropping their kids off at the school nearby. They often pop in for a quick packet of biscuits or some pens for the children. My shelves are full of various bags of rice, different kinds of lentils, and cooking oils. I try to keep track of what people ask for so I don't run out of the popular brands. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic or the narrow roads around here, which can be a bit of a headache, but that is just how things go. The floor gets dusty with all the foot traffic, so I spend a lot of time sweeping between customers. It is just me and sometimes a helper here. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a practical shop for the local families.
