Textile Design Teacher

Down in Chitradurga, things move a bit slower than in the big metros, and that’s just fine by me. My business is Textile Design Teacher, and I’m based right here. My address is listed as D.N Ravi Kumar Chitradurga, which is how most people find me. It’s not a big school or a fancy institute with a lot of staff. It’s more of a personal setup where I can really focus on the craft. Chitradurga is known for its famous fort and the rocky hills, and you can feel that ruggedness in the air every day. I don't have a fleet of assistants or a marketing team to run things. It’s just me and the students who come by to learn the ropes of textile design. The space is simple—some tables, a few looms perhaps, and lots of sketches pinned to the walls. I don't use a lot of big words or fancy theories when I teach. I just show people how the threads come together and how to make something look right. My name is pretty well known in the local area, so people just find their way here without much trouble. We sit, we work, we have some tea, and we talk about the designs. It’s a very direct way of doing things. There aren't any brochures or glossy magazines about what I do. It’s just about the skill and the patience it takes to teach it. I’ve been doing this for a long time now, and the routine keeps me going.
