Prathi Engineering

Prathi Engineering is at 17/45 in Harihar. It’s a small engineering setup. We don’t have a massive factory or hundreds of workers. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. The building is older, and you can tell we’ve been here for a bit. There’s always the smell of metal and coolant in the air. We don’t bother with much else besides the work itself. If you're looking for a polished office with air conditioning, this isn't the place. We spend our time at the benches or by the lathes. Harihar is a decent place to be based. It’s not too hectic, so we can focus on what we’re making. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait or use the generator. That’s just part of the life here. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do them well enough that people come back. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it’s the only way we know. We keep our overhead low and our heads down. It’s a lot of measuring, cutting, and checking things twice. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do at 17/45 every single day of the week. We enjoy the process of making things from scratch and seeing the final product ready.
