Homable Manufacturing Pvt Ltd

We are located over in Vinobha Nagar, on the 2nd Cross road. It’s a bit of a drive out on Davangere Road but we like the space here. The manufacturing unit is where everything happens. We have machines running most of the day and it can get quite loud inside. There are about fifteen of us working here now. We started Homable because we saw a need for local manufacturing that didn't cost a fortune. The building is 3-2-145, just a plain block structure. We have a small office in the front where we keep the records. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside and wait for the generator to kick in. That’s when we talk about life and family. We make things that people use in their homes, mostly parts and small assemblies. It’s not glamorous work. My hands are usually dirty by noon. We take our lunch breaks together under the tree out front. The road gets dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just make the stuff and send it out to the shops. It’s been a few years and we’re still learning how to do things better. Every day is a bit different depending on what orders we have. It’s a steady life for us here in Davangere and we keep at it day after day.
