The post office is nearby at Gulehalli, but we are a bit further down the road. We spend most of our time out here with the animals. It's a quiet place on Sigandur Road. The mornings always start before the sun is even up. You hear the buckets clinking against the concrete floor. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that is just part of living in this part of the country. We have been doing this for a while now. It's mostly just about making sure the cows are fed and the milk gets where it needs to go. It isn't a fancy setup. The gate needs a bit of oil, and the shed is always a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the daily work. People from the village know where we are if they need anything. It's not like the big city dairies you see on television. Here, things move slower. We check the fence every few days because the brush grows fast. Sometimes the truck is late picking up the cans, and we just sit and have tea while we wait. That's just how life goes in Genasinakuni. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the farm and the animals and the road that leads out to Sigandur. It's enough to keep us busy from sunrise until we finally turn the lights off.
