Acharya Architects & Interiors

We are located right on the ground floor of a building in Sharavathi Nagar, specifically on 4th Cross. If you know Shimoga well, you probably know where the Adichunchangiri School is; we are quite close to that. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we sit down with our drawings and try to figure out how to make buildings work better for people. Some days it gets pretty loud around here when the school kids are heading home or arriving in the morning, but you get used to the noise after a while. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors who come in and out. Most of our work is about architecture and doing up interiors for local houses or shops in the area. We aren't a big corporation or anything like that, just a small group of us trying to do our jobs properly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how things go in this part of town. We have been in this spot for some time now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us if they need a plan drawn up or want to change how their living room looks. It is a simple setup with a couple of desks and a lot of paper everywhere. We usually have some tea and just get on with the day’s tasks.
