Dm Store

The Dm Store is tucked away on the 1st Cross of Badriya Road. We are quite close to the Urdu School, so we hear the bell ring and the kids playing during their breaks. It is a very local kind of street where everyone knows everyone else. Our shop is just a regular place where we keep our stock and wait for customers to drop by. The shelves are mostly full but sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery truck. Badriya Road can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for people. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit on the counter to keep the air moving. The floor is made of old tiles that have been there since before we moved in. We usually open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It's a simple routine. We don't do much in the way of advertising because people in the neighborhood already know we are here. Sometimes we sit on the bench outside when things are slow and watch the motorbikes go past. It’s just a normal store doing normal business every day. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet.
