Smita Patil Public School

Smita Patil Public School is located in Shirpur, which is in the Dhule district. It’s a straightforward place and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. The school building is a plain structure with several rooms for the different classes. We don't have any high-tech facilities or fancy lounges. It’s just a place with wooden benches, blackboards, and a lot of books. Every morning the kids arrive, some on foot and others on cycles. The teachers are dedicated to their work and spend their days explaining various subjects to the students. Shirpur can get very hot during the summer, so we try to keep the classrooms as ventilated as possible. We have a small ground where the children can run around during their break time. The office is where we keep all the records and talk to the parents about their children’s progress. It’s not a formal or stiff environment. We know most of the people who come through the doors. We don’t spend much time on promotion or advertising. The school is known in the town as a place where local kids can come to learn. We follow the standard academic calendar with the usual holidays and exam seasons. It’s a very practical and honest setup. We just focus on the daily task of teaching the kids and making sure they are ready for their next steps. That’s how things go at our school in Dhule.
