Down here in Shirpur, R.C.Patel College is a place most people recognize. Maharashtra heat can be tough, so the building is designed to stay as cool as it can. We have students coming from different parts of the district. Some stay nearby, and others commute every day. The campus has its own rhythm. You see people sitting on the steps between lectures or heading to the canteen when they have a break. It is not just about the classrooms; the whole area feels alive during the day. We have plenty of desks and chairs, though some have carvings from students who were here years ago. The staff works out of the main office where the files are piled up. It feels like a real community hub in this part of Shirpur. There is always some event or meeting happening that we have to prepare for. The noise of students talking fills the air from morning until evening. We don’t have many fancy decorations on the walls. It is more about the function of the place. The toilets need cleaning often because of the crowd, and the water coolers are always busy. We just keep things moving along. Sometimes the local traffic outside gets loud, but we are used to it by now. It is a busy college life, and we are just here doing our jobs and making sure the gates open on time every single day. We keep the registers updated and the floors swept for the next morning.
